Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Trading with Rahi collects and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored by our login provider in scrambled (hashed) form; we never see them.
• Payment details you give us: the payment method, the sender's name and account number, the transaction ID and the screenshot you upload. We never ask for your card details or PIN.
• Device and security details: a random device ID stored in a cookie, the type of browser and operating system you use, and your IP address. We use these to enforce the two-device limit and to protect accounts.
• Learning activity: which lessons you have watched and how far you got, so we can show your progress.
• Messages: anything you send through the contact form, by email or on WhatsApp.

Why we use it

• to create your account and give you access to the courses you buy
• to check payments and send invoices
• to stop account sharing, fraud and piracy, including adding your details as a watermark on videos and files you access
• to reply to your questions and send important service emails

We do not sell your information and we do not use advertising trackers.

Cookies

We only use cookies the site needs to work: login cookies that keep you signed in, and a device cookie that recognises your browser for the device limit.

Services we use

We use trusted providers to run the site. They process data on our behalf:

• Supabase: database, logins and file storage
• Bunny.net: video streaming
• Cloudflare: hosting and protection against attacks
• Resend: sending emails

Some of these providers store data outside Pakistan.

How long we keep it

We keep account and progress information while your account is open. We keep payment and invoice records for as long as needed for our accounts. Security logs are kept for up to 12 months.

Your choices

You can update your name and password from your account page. To get a copy of your information, correct it, or delete your account, contact us. Some records, such as invoices, may need to be kept even after an account is closed.

Security

The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), private storage for payment screenshots and course files, two-factor login for administrators, and strict access rules so each student can only see their own information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you if a breach affects you.
